Washington Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Online
The purpose of this MAST course is to enhance public safety and promote responsible alcohol use by providing servers with the knowledge and skills to:
- Prevent alcohol service to minors
- Prevent alcohol service to visibly intoxicated persons
- Prevent violations of alcohol laws and rules
The course is a total of 3 hours, and consists of 6 modules, including:
- Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Program
- Alcohol and its Effects on the Body
- Minors and Checking ID
- Apparently Intoxicated Persons
- Rules Related to Alcohol Laws and MAST
At the end of the course there is a final exam. You must complete the entire course before you can proceed to the final exam. As you are going through the course, feel free to go back and review any of the information in the modules you have already covered. However, please be advised that the final exam is closed book, meaning once you begin the exam you may no longer go back and review. You have one attempt to complete the exam and you must correctly answer 80% of the questions to receive your permit.
